We have designed The Cultivate Community to make the work of life-on-life mentoring more “doable” and more impactful for those who become part of this important Project with us. 

The Cultivate Community is organized around a four-step continuum that we call our “Diamond Development Model.”  You can select any of the steps below to learn more about what you can achieve as a Premium Member of the community:

• Step One: Assess. Take a 32-question survey and receive a customized assessment report of your mentoring skills and interests.
• Step Two: Equip. Access training tools developed through extensive research and consultation with top Christian educators, including how to form and maintain mentoring relationships, how to help mentorees grow significantly through life-on-life interaction, and how to solve common mentoring problems.
• Step Three. Engage. Download mentoring plans targeted at questions young adults are asking, such as “What is my purpose?” “What is true?” and “What difference do I make?”
• Step Four: Track. Use our online portfolio system to keep notes on multiple mentoring relationships, track mentorees’ goals and progress, and schedule mentoring interactions.

As you work through these steps, you will be able to exchange ideas and encouragement and challenges with peers, and to learn from "best practices" as this important effort advances across the nation.
